The word artisanal gets overused but it applies here. You can tell this oil wasn't mass produced. There's care and craft in it — the dark amber color, the thick viscosity, the way it blooms slowly on skin rather than hitting all at once. Suyufi is an art piece. Wear it on occasions that deserve it.

Bought three bottles to cellar

When I find a genuinely excellent aged oud I buy in quantity because the source won't last forever. Bought three 3ml bottles of Suyufi — one to wear now, two to age further. The oil is already magnificent at this age. Give it another two years in a dark cupboard and I suspect it will be otherworldly. Highly recommend stocking up.

Excellent aged Assam — slightly more smoke than expected

This is a superb aged oud. My only note is that the smoke element is more prominent than I expected from reading the description — it's more campfire/incense than pure wood. That said, the quality is undeniable and the smoke element settles beautifully on the dry-down into a gorgeous resinous base. Definitely worth buying.
